Carmen Rodriguez, Director of Fleming Business Services

Carmen’s responsibilities include the management of finance, human resources, and procurement activities for five of the executive offices located in the Fleming Administrative Building. The offices include; Office of the President, the Office of Vice President for Communications, the Office of the Vice President-General Counsel, the Office of the Vice President for Government Relations, and the Office of the Vice President-Secretary.

Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Carmen was a senior auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she provided auditing services to education, insurance, and real-estate investment trust companies, including SEC companies.Carmen has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan-Flint. She is also a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.

April Stanley, Senior Budget Analyst

April has been with the University since 1999.  Prior to joining Fleming Business Services in 2015, April worked at the Shared Services Center, School of Dentistry, and UMHS.

Megan Xu, Senior Budget Analyst

Megan Xu, Senior Budget Analyst

Megan began her career with U-M in 2009, working at the department of Radiation Oncology in the Health System. As a member of the Fleming Business Services team, she is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, budget planning, forecasting, and report development. Megan has a Master’s degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.

Stephanie Moore, Budget Analyst

Stephanie began her career at the University of Michigan in 1998.  She currently works as a Budget Analyst for the Fleming Business Services Team.

Brian C Dick, Administrative Assistant Intermediate

A life-long Michigander, Brian earned his BA with honors in English Language and Literature, and spent 15 years as an Administrative Assistant in local government before moving into the private sector and finding his way to our university in 2012. He worked four years in a research division of the Health System (Radiation Oncology Physics) before joining the Fleming Business Services team in February 2016.

Sabrina Wheeler, Administrative Assistant Intermediate

Sabrina has her AAS in Business Management, and her years of service are now greater than her age when she started at U of M.  She has 11 years’ experience in academic departments (Microbiology & Immunology, and Sociology), and moved to Risk Management for 16 years before joining the Fleming Business Services team in March 2017.
